The Glass Eye by Tahimek The Glass Eye by Tahimek
This was a shallow bowl I made more than a year ago. The shape is an abstract representation of a blue iris when viewed from above.

On the rough, orange outside was I think carbon trap shino (?), while the inside was a mix of cobalt and blue glass dust that was melted down into a shiny, opalescent finish. Some portions of the rough exterior were also lightly dusted with blue glass.

It now serves as a small birdbath, with glass pebbles and sea glass submerged in the water.
